The overall responsibilities of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper fall into the following areas:
Supervises the night / evening housekeeping staff, including the shift supervisors, and hourly employees. Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates and evaluates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs changes as needed.
Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long-range plans for the evening / night housekeeping staff. Coordinates department activities with other departments and agencies as needed.
Provides technical support to supervisors and subordinates. Makes presentations to housekeeping and government staff. Communicates official plans, policies and procedure changes to the evening / night staff as needed.
Assures that assigned areas of responsibilities are performed within budget. Assures effective and efficient use of budgeted funds, personnel, materials and time maintained.
Ensures customer satisfaction and deliverance of the highest quality service possible for our customers.
Supports the Executive Housekeeper in resolving customer and performance concerns. Maintains industry best practices.
Conducts productivity rate studies to ensure maximum and balance workforce output.
Participation in the Performance Evaluation program is required.
Minimum of one-year experience in healthcare housekeeping, within the last three years’, in a medical treatment facility of comparable size and services.
Minimum of two years prior management experience is required.
Must be able to develop trend reports for monthly staff meetings.
Operation of windows applications, MS Word, MS Excel, Etc., and related applications.
