ServiceMaster has a rich heritage, founded in 1929 as a moth-proofing company by former minor league baseball player Marion E. Wade. While our company has evolved over time, our customers’ high expectations have not. Our seven industry leading brands demonstrate a strong commitment to service, professionals with deep expertise and best-in-class performance guarantees. Today, ServiceMas...ter Global Holdings, Inc. is a leading provider of residential and commercial services, operating through an extensive network of more than 7,000 company-owned, franchised and licensed locations. The company’s portfolio includes Terminix (termite and pest control), American Home Shield (home warranties), ServiceMaster Restore (disaster restoration), ServiceMaster Clean (janitorial), Merry Maids (residential cleaning), Furniture Medic (furniture repair) and AmeriSpec (home inspections). Not only are our brands industry leaders, in most cases they created the category. Terminix was founded in the 1920s. American Home Shield founded the home warranty industry more than 40 years ago, and today boasts an unmatched national footprint. ServiceMaster Clean and ServiceMaster Restore began in 1929 as a carpet cleaning business called ServiceMaster, which was an early pioneer in franchising and issued its first license in 1952. In the last 12 months, we’ve served 5 million residential and commercial customers, visiting more than 75,000 homes each day.
