Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking candidates to fill a full-time/regular position who will oversee inspections of the housekeeping activities to ensure contract obligations and ensure procedures are being followed according to the healthcare standards. Will also ensure compliance with appropriate infection prevention, safety, OSHA, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION An Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Business, or related curriculum is preferred. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION Non-supervisory - Three (3) years professional work experience in healthcare housekeeping, environmental services, infection control, and/or healthcare related departments. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
MINIMUM CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATION Certification with the International Executive Housekeepers Association, Inc. (IEHA) or equivalent, or Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) is preferred.
