This position is accountable for planning, organizing, and managing system-wide recruitment projects and professionals, ensuring and facilitating collaborative and cooperative relationships with applicable stakeholders for supplemental and new grad staffing needs. This position assesses workforce needs at all system levels and provides innovative recommendations to attract hires for the organizations hard-to-fill supplemental positions. This position is responsible for understanding and delivering on regional and national labor market trends, work with regional recruiters to identify recruitment opportunities, integrate ideas and develop corresponding sourcing/recruitment solutions. This position is accountable for assuring supplemental staffing recruitment practices meet established standards through successful matrix reporting relationships with senior/lead facility recruiters. Coaches facility human resources leadership related to recruitment practices and direction. Participates in the development and implementation of organizational and/or departmental strategies to achieve desired outcomes. This position works with management across diverse areas and multiple states to pursue system-wide solutions and approaches. This position partners with system/regional leadership teams to ensure that the department is continually assisting the region and facilities in addressing their current and future workforce needs. This position is also responsible for managing and maintaining sourcing contracts/vendor metrics and applying sourcing science and tactics to all needs core and supplemental across the enterprise. This includes oversight of the sourcing specialist team.
Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work of direct staff and matrixed employees
Participates into the development of the department budget to meet corporate goals and objectives. Meets annual budgetary goals. Translates organizational plans, goals, and initiatives into assumptions for annual operating and/or capital budgets. Negotiates contracts with external vendors for products and/or services and monitors/evaluates quality and/or performance.
Directs and participates in the development, implementation, and consistent application of effective organizational policies, procedures, and practices. Develops and supports internal controls to ensure that assets are safeguarded, policies and operating procedures are followed, necessary controls are effective and efficient, and compliance with current laws and regulations is achieved.
Reviews, prepares, analyzes, and presents reports and recommendations to senior leadership regarding operations, programs, services, and/or other applicable areas of interest in order to provide concise and accurate information that aids in decision-making.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent fields of study.
Depending upon assigned area of responsibility, position may require applicable certifications and/or licensures, including but not limited to: RN; MD or DO; Driver\u2019s License; Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA); Certified Protection Professional (CPP); Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU); Associate in Risk Management (ARM); CPA; SPHR; Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA); Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT); Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM); Certified Facility Manager (CFM); Certified Coding Specialist (CCS); Certified Professional Coder (CPC); JD from an American Bar Association accredited school; admission to a State Bar Association.
Significant technical and managerial, typically gained through 5+ years relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc). Ability to influence senior leadership regarding recruitment and sourcing strategies. Ability to speak to current labor market trends and actions needed to maximize staff acquisition.
Prior history of leading recruiting and sourcing teams preferably in Healthcare. Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and/or HR information systems.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
