The Manager of Environmental Services at Cary Hospital is responsible for the administrative management including the operational and financial outcomes for the environmental services and print and mail departments. Assists with strategic planning, program development, standards compliance and integration of system wide service delivery. Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety. Responsible for surplus and salvage of unneeded equipment and furniture, pest control, and trash and recycling programs.
Education: Associate's Degree with required experience and Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: 5 years’ experience in environmental services required, 2 years’ experience in healthcare environmental services and 5 years’ leadership experience. Leadership experience in direct area of responsibility strongly preferred.
