As an Area Manager, Supply Chain Operations you will:
Ensure that all medical and non-medical supplies and services critical to the delivery of care to our patients are procured and managed in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
Work closely with the District Director of Supply Chain Operations to ensure that supply chain functions are performed in the following areas within the facilities in their area: contracting, compliance, staffing, budgets, supply/service spend, service delivery, logistics, planning, equipment rental, and capital purchasing.
Responsible for leading the planning, development and implementation of area hospital strategic initiatives in Supply Chain Operations including quality, utilization, cost, working capital, day-to-day operations, service and human resource management.
Ensures compliance with established district and national goals and standards.
As an Area Manager, Supply Chain Operations you will have:
Degree in Business Administration or related program preferred.
3 or more years of experience in supply chain management, including managing/leading non-exempt and exempt employees.
5 or more years of experience utilizing an ERP system or other procurement software to manage supply flow across multiple locations.
Six Sigma White Belt Certified or higher preferred.
3 or more years working in a retail, manufacturing, or health care environment preferred.
2 or more years of experience in demand planning, SKU rationalization and standardization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (eg Excel, Word, and SharePoint).
Effective verbal and written communication skills with various levels across an organization as well as across diverse populations.
