This is an apprentice level position to the equipment maintenance function of Facilities Management. Incumbent receives instructions verbally, from work orders, and from preventative maintenance instruction sheets.
Required: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.), with course work in arithmetic, mechanics and electricity
Required: Five years maintenance mechanic experience, trade school.
Preferred: Or apprenticeship preferred, preferably in a hospital setting
Required: Must possess effective human relations and written communication skills.
Required: Must be able to work variable shifts, weekend and/or holidays as required. Must be able to transport self to off-site locations as required. When using own vehicle must have valid Arizona driversï¿½ license and proof of insurance that meets the minimum standards of the state of Arizona.
