Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Performs landscaping of grounds as scheduled and needed
  • Evaluates and reports conditions that detract from the safety or aesthetic value of the premises
  • Removes debris and takes care of hazardous conditions. Assists contractors/vendors with on-site events or maintenance
  • Maintains all irrigation systems and notifies the Facility Manager of any major system problems
  • Monitors fertilization and insecticide programs and treats as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
  • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • High School or equivalent
  • One year of technical experience
  • Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field, or combination of High School degree and related experience preferred
  • Two years of technical experience preferred
Job Summary:
Maintains the grounds in an attractive, safe and sanitary condition. Provides grounds maintenance in all seasons. Performs a wide range of routine landscaping maintenance tasks using hand or power tools or equipment
