Summary

Responsible for the general cleanliness of the assigned areas in Medical Facilities which includes procedure areas, patient care areas and all other areas requiring EV support.
Distributes linen through the facility.
Removes trash and linen using compactor and cardboard baler.
Moving of furniture and other heavy equipment is accomplished as directed.

• Minimum

  Responsible to clean & maintain an assigned area. Performs a variety of environmental services duties in and around the medical center to maintain a neat, orderly, sanitary and safe environment.

  
  

Education

Required: High School graduate, GED with ability to read, write and understand the English language.

Experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of six months experience preferred
• Prior experience working in a health care facility preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., carry items of 25 lbs., push carts up to 200 lbs. Ability to perform frequent pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting and reaching. Job requires extensive standing and walking
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions Rotating Shifts
• Weekends and holidays required
