Description Job Summary The Housekeeping Technician / Floor Technician is responsible for floor care duties in the adult hospital. The candidate must have one year of previous experience operating floor care machines. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week)
Qualifications 1 year of experience operating floor care machines is a requirement for this role. Department/Unit Summary As the Environmental Services Department at Vanderbilt Medical Center/Adult Hospital, we are dedicated to maintaining a healthy and clean environment for our patients and family members. We have a very diverse department with team members who enjoy what they do and are excited about being a part of the Vanderbilt family. We sustain a high cleaning standard by employing a nine-step cleaning process while training on proper chemical use, proper protective equipment, and patient safety. The Environmental Services Team is responsible for ensuring the hospital environment is patient ready and our team is full of employees who are always willing to help! Position Shift Positions on the following shifts: 1st shift - hours 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. 2nd shift - hours 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. You are required to work every other weekend in this position and rotating holidays.
