Groundskeeper Plant Maintenance Full time Days

Summary

Performs various maintenance function, including maintenance of the hospital, grounds and all hospital properties. All other duties as assigned as deprtment demands.

Qualifications

Maintains all grounds including medical office buildings. Picks up trash and debris as needed. Maintains water fountains located on hospital campus by vacuuming and treating the water with chemicals as needed. Blows all leaves and debris from main entrance of the hospital and medical buildings. Works with landscaper to maintain property. Maintains the sprinkler system to assure system is working properly. Pressure cleans varios areas around the exterior of the facilities on a consistent basis. Informs supervisor of any problems. Fills out and completes corrective work orders as required. Maintains perventive maintenance on equipment. Provides cost estimate of material used or needed for repair. Responds to radio calls in adequate time frame. Completes requisitions of materials needed for repair. Assists co-workers, if needed to accomplish job task when supervisor apprived. Must be able to report to work in the event of a disaster. Communicates with hospital personnel to infrom them or repair or status of repairs, taking place in their area. Performs job duties in accordance with standards set forth by ACHA and JACHO, if applicable. Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools.
