Baptist Memorial Health, one of the premier health care systems in the Mid-South, has an excellent opportunity for a System Director, Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing a blueprint for strengthening/building Baptist’s freestanding ASC strategy.
Works in close coordination with Baptist’s Executive and Senior leaders, physician constituents, and/or other key stakeholders.
Provides clear business rationale using financial assumptions/projections in the advancement and growth of freestanding ASCs within communities served.
Focuses market expansion on operational and service opportunities, accessibility, high value care, and strong financial performance.
Oversees various business arrangements to include mergers/acquisitions, joint ventures, contractual management agreements, and/or internal business realignment relative to ASC development and/or other potential business/healthcare transactions.
Integrates operational processes, systems, and technology to drive synergies, standardization, where appropriate, scalability, alignment, and accountability. Reports to the Vice President, Operations and Hospital and Affiliate Integration.
Master’s Degree in business administration, health care administration, or other related degree to include a clinical discipline.
Minimum of five years of experience with progressive, outcome oriented background in an administrative or management position in ASC industry with strong operational, financial, and clinical oversight. Multiple ASC site leadership strongly
Skills in managing diverse priorities and operational complexities in multiple locations.
Sound financial budgeting and business modeling, reporting, and analytical skills to gauge individual and system ASC and/or business
Strong operational leadership skills including project management, process improvement, problem solving, decision-making, prioritization, team building, patient satisfaction and service excellence.
Develops strong internal/external business alliances within communities served.
Provide operational oversight for other types of business/healthcare transactions/projects/arrangements, to meet organizational needs.
