The Director, Hospitality Services plans, directs, oversees and is responsible for the effective functioning of all aspects of Food and Nutrition Services, Housekeeping, Linen, Laundry and other related services across all Saratoga Hospital sites. The incumbent will be responsible for daily oversight of all departmental functions including: hiring, training and evaluation of all staff; budgeting, procurement, cash and cost control; day-to-day departmental operations; managing external contract services; and cleanliness/sanitation with an emphasis in all areas on increasing patient and customer satisfaction, improving department processes, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Minimum Qualifications: Degree required in Management, Environmental Science, Food Service Management, Health Administration, Dietetics, or a related field. Significant experience in a healthcare setting as a Director of Food Service or Environmental Services with minimum two years of experience managing multiple departments.
Certifications / Licensure: In addition to a degree certification as Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) and/or Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) is preferred.
