Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days, Weekends are included

You will be responsible for:

• Reports to work in a regular and timely fashion.
• Performs all work on production sheets in a timely fashion so as to meet meal deadlines.
• Maintains personal hygiene and neatness according to departmental standards
• Performs proper hand washing techniques according to department standards
• Utilizes gloves according to departmental standards
• Uses hair restraints according to departmental standards
• Utilizes clean aprons, towels, and bleach buckets as needed.
• Ensures that utensils and equipment are clean prior to using
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment after each use and between different food items
• Wipes up spills after they occur in order to avoid accidents
• Covers and dates food when storing to ensure freshness and safety
• Uses correct taste-test methods during food preparations, portioning out small amount
• Prepares bakery items for cafertia, patient service, deli and another baked goods listed on the production sheet.
•  Prepares dinner rolls bread, desserts and pastries for deli and cafertia lunch service.
• Prepares any specialty items for special functions and as requested
• Maintains full par levels on sugar and flour bins
• Completes bakery supply order forms as per schedule and gives to director adding any other supplies needed
• Maintains proper cleaning of production coolers and supply shelves
• Cleans ovens during and after productions
• Maintains proper cleaning of production coolers and supply shelves
• Cleans work area during the day and before leaving

What will you need?

• High School graduate
• At least 5 years’ experience baking in an institutional setting.
• Ability to follow recipes and understand production sheets
