The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance of hospital facilities, physical plant equipment/systems, and life safety equipment/systems. Additionally, The Maintenance Mechanic maintains overall aesthetics/cosmetic appearance of all hospital facilities and physical plant equipment except that which is the responsibility of Environmental Services.
Minimum Education High School education/ GED
Required Licenses/Certifications Minimum of 5 years experience with hi/low steam pressure boilers with pipe fitting preferred and a current HVAC license preferred. Valid driverâ��s license.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English and be proficient using common hand tools, power tools, and test equipment common to the maintenance trade.
