Manage the adjustment of inventory levels of stock and nonstock supplies/equipment/linen. Analyze and monitor inventory levels. Consider labor and acquisition costs in determining appropriate par levels forcost effective inventory management. Maintain, verify and update receiving and distribution records and supplies. Provide communication to all customers regarding changes and updates to product descriptions, number, units of measure, stock additions and deletions. Provide strong leadership in guiding and supporting department managers in appropriate inventory control to manage costs and meet department fluctuations. Works independently with vendors, suppliers, front line staff, customers, and managers. Serve as subject matter expert on Inventory and Procurement portions of MMIS. Recommend process improvements to customers and superiors. Serves as supply chain subject matter expert on surgical / medical supplies and equipment and inventory optimization. Primary contact for site projects and conversions.
