Our Office of Development seeks a talented Senior Designer !
The Senior Designer is responsible for the development, concepting, and design of multi-channel creative including (but not limited to) web, email, advertising, social, and print across Development programs, including Cycle for Survival, Fred's Team, Kids Walk for MSK Kids and MSK Giving.
Reporting to the Creative Director and working directly with Development's Digital Operations and Copywriting teams, the Senior Designer will create unique and thoughtful design solutions ensuring that all branded content is innovative, brand appropriate, and of the highest quality.
As the Senior Designer, Development you will:
Act as creative stakeholder in the ideation and strategy of digital (and sometimes print) campaigns for Peer-to-Peer Fundraising and Development programs
Concept and design promotional and branded email campaigns, mockup, design, and build website pages, and lead look and feel of social channels with a focus on Instagram and Facebook.
Lead visual look and feel of signature event design, including (but not limited to) both digital and print-based signage and activations.
Manage communication and timeliness of creative review by all key stakeholders and ensure adjustments are made as needed.
Participate in content brainstorms and work with other teams to refine content strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Digital Operations, Copywriting, Event Logistics and other leaders throughout the organization
Maintain and manage brand style guidelines in partnership with the Creative Director
Stay abreast of industry and trends along with competitive landscape
5+ years of professional design experience in digital-forward, campaign-driven work
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in digital design
An online portfolio of projects illustrating a high-level understanding of graphic design (showcasing campaign, digital, and print work).
An eye for visual composition, with an excellent understanding of typography, color theory, branding, and UX principles
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
Experience with managing projects in Basecamp, Slack, and Jira
Experience in Drupal, a plus.
Solid background in web design, understands usability. Proficiency with HTML and CSS helpful.
Excellent project management skills are essential.
