ChristianaCare is looking for a Data Coordinator to support data acquisition, analysis, reporting needs aligned with the organizational Annual Operating Plan, patient safety activities consistent with the Infection Prevention Department surveillance and ongoing survey readiness. in addition, the Coordinator will develop and maintain databases SharePoint, website and manage additional special projects for Infection Prevention under the direction of the Director of Infection Prevention.

Oversee data functions, including designing aggregate reports and queries to drive improvements.
Assist with the management of Infection Prevention Committee, Subcommittees and Task Forces, and other departmental meetings.
Establish and maintains secure transmittal of secure communication as needed for Infection Prevention activities.
Assesses needs for additional software applications to improve efficiency of work within the Infection Prevention Department and which supports the annual operating plan.
Develop and automates processes using software such as Access, Excel, VISO, Visual Basic, and SharePoint or other applications as needed.
Establish and maintains internal SharePoint sites and website content and format to meet needs of the Infection Prevention Department and the organization.
Develop methods to ensure appropriate access to confidential information on the internal website.
Interact as a liaison between Infection Prevention and State Health Departments and other external organizations.
Manage additional projects as required and assists in the quality improvement activities of the department.
Assumes responsibility for ongoing professional growth and maintains a professional collaborative working relationship with the Infection Prevention staff and all caregivers of the organization.
Demonstrates compliance with center-wide and departmental policies and procedures and mandatory education requirements, including but not limited to safety, infection preventions, attendance and dress code.
Assists the Chief Infection Prevention Officer with projects, meeting schedules and Kronos.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, and or Education required. One year experience in a data analyst role or the use of analysis and reporting tools required.
Experience in creating and developing professional reports/presentation using various Microsoft products.
Experience in website development and tools.
Education and or experience in one or more of the following are preferred: performance improvement/quality improvement, outcomes analysis, project management.
