MSK is seeking an Associate Director of Asset Lifecycle Management. We are in search of candidate who will drive the development and execution of an in-house end to end service strategy for biomedical equipment and devices. Youll partner with administrative and clinical leaders, Biomedical Engineers, Plant Operators, IT professionals, and suppliers to obtain shared vision, implementation, and strategic development of the Asset Lifecyle Management Program. Develop and implement consistent policies and procedures/workflows that support the Asset Management program and assures service level compliance.
Partner with Finance, Biomedical Engineering, and Leadership toestablish operational objectives and plans foreach asset category.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet objectives costeffectively andefficiently.
Ensure the regulatory and compliance needs are met, internal controls are sound, and documentation is completed.
Evaluate maintenance and cost data related to medicalequipment.
Act as a data integrity steward and provide ongoing transparent data to key partners.
Ensure standardized reporting including medicalequipment management required by federal and state regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission, AAABB, CMS, and others.
Provideexpertise and advice with regards to service contract negotiation, management, and performance monitoring.
Advise in the development ofequipment standards andequipment utilization for all types of medicalequipment.
Works closely with capital planning and review committees in developing and managing capital replacement plans and priorities.
Support Supply Chain as a technical specialist onequipment selection and sourcing.
7+ years in an Asset Managementenvironment withexperience leading a small team.
Experience within Healthcare
Successfullyexecuted programs for full lifecycle management including implementation, monitoring, redeployment, reselling, and recycling of retiredequipment.
Excellent customer relationship building skills to serves as the interface between medicalequipment stakeholders and all MSK functional business areas
Analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and present creative approaches and solutions to strategic business issues.
Handled outsourced service contracts by holding service providers accountable to contract terms, negotiations, and performance.
Fundamental understanding of asset management life cycle and processes.
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with data base management systems andelectronic spreadsheets.
