Under the direction of the Sr. Information Technology & Security Portfolio Manager (SITSPM), the Technology Program Manager (ITPMgr) will oversee directly or through direct reports, the program of large and complex critical Information Technology projects, both internally sponsored and/or in support of other business units at UCLA Health impacting broad constituencies across major portions of the organization. In this leadership role, you will drive strategic execution and maximize business value through the selection, optimization, and oversight of project investments which align to business goals and strategies. The scope of the role is broad, overseeing programs across UCLA Health while collaborating with broader business units across UCLA Health Sciences such as our Office of Health Informatics & Analytics (OHIA) and our David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM).
Bachelor's Degree and or equivalent job experience
5+ years in Information Technology or related field
Hands-on operational experience in IT as a project resource or as a technical project manager
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience resolving conflicts between security and business objectives
Understanding of the technology and threat landscape, including the ability to anticipate future technology investments for planning and budgeting
Experience working with multiple sources of financial data to produce meaningful statistics on Information Technology budgets for both tracking and planning purposes
Highly knowledgeable in the use of productivity applications such as Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint
