JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the EVP President, Hospitals and Clinics, the VP Hospitality is responsible for the performance & oversight of hospitality services throughout BSWH. Includes Food, Nutrition, and Wellness Services (FANS), Environmental Services (EVS), Laundry, Linen Distribution, Patient Transportation, Screeners / Greeters, Info Desks, Concierges, valet, PBX/Customer Service Centers and related governance council, and other related services. Serve as a Board Member for North Texas Health Care Laundry (NTHCL) JV. Monitors operational performance of hospitality services for hospitals and clinics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Responsible for financial, quality, service, auditing, and outcomes oversight for BSWH Hospitality Services. Oversees Hospitality Services budget, reviews monthly financials, monitor performance against targets. - Collaborates in the development of bid strategies and agreements with contractors. Oversees contracts with Aramark, ABM and other related hospitality & related contract providers to ensure proper execution, approvals and payment of terms defined in agreements. - Leads, recruits, selects, orients and trains direct reports. - Provides strategic direction for the Hospitality Services across BSWH in collaboration with Hospital/Clinic leadership, Hospitality oversight leadership and the contracted service companies. - Prepares integrated service, quality, financial and administrative reports to aid executive or administrative leadership in the management oversight of site-specific hospitality services. Leads the integration of affiliates contracted to provide hospitality services. - Leads planning and consolidation of fixed capital requirements for all of hospitality services. - Partners with BSWH Integration team to successfully onboard new hospitals and expand existing services into new markets. - Participates in related huddles, monthly/quarterly financial and operational review with the contractors/affiliates. Coordinates & communicates with BSWH respective entities, system shared services & departments. - Chairs the PBX/Customer Service Center Governance Council. - Performs other position-appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.
