Under general supervision, interprets, transcribes/edits with accuracy dictation involving medical terminology in a variety of specialties by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, workup, therapeutic, and invasive procedures, clinical course, diagnosis, prognosis, etc., in order to document patient care, facilitate delivery of healthcare services, and comply with standards of documentation mandated by state and federal regulatory agencies and voluntary accrediting agencies. Provide support in Anatomic Pathology as needed.
