You Will Be Responsible For:
Oversees the patient tray services and cafeteria food preparation for Advent Health Ocala.
Prepares attractive and palatable food for patients, Café and doctor’s lounge in quantities dictated by the menu and food production sheets.
Ensures preparation and serving of food services for patients, Café and catering.
Participates in scheduling of cooks. Ensures adequate staffing coverage to meet food preparation needs
Maintains sanitary conditions of floors, stove, worktables and other equipment used in the performance of duties; records temperatures appropriately following all HACCP Guidelines.
What You Will Need:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years food service experience
(Cook) Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager, the lead cook is responsible for preparing of food in accordance with established recipes, dietary compliance and sanitation regulations.The Lead Cook will ensure that patient tray services, cafeteria food and services are performed efficiently and effectively.
(Patient Services & Retail)Supervise the performance and behavior of all associates under their direction. Ensure prompt and accurate service to customers through the supervision of appropriate associates. Maintain and ensure sanitation of work areas. Proactive management to ensure proper staffing and minimizing of overtime and over staffing.
