As an integral part of the marketing team, the Marketing Brand Specialist is responsible producing a wide variety of creative, accurate and proficiently crafted documents and marketing collateral to support MemorialCare’s Simply Better Patient Experience, Employee Experience and Online Reputation Management. This position supports social media, partnerships and execution of branding strategies.
This position supports the Brand/Digital team and maintains collaborative relationships with the marketing team, across the various workstreams of PR/Comms, Service Line, and B2B/Outreach. The employee will be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to, customer service, patient’s rights, confidentiality of information, environment of care and MemorialCare initiatives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Support the MemorialCare Experience program to ensure a Simply Better Experience is delivered to every Patient, Guest and Employee of MemorialCare.
Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to creatively translate ideas and concepts into content that communicates key messages and achieves strategic objectives.
Must be able to work independently, make own decisions and demonstrate initiative
Timely production of marketing collateral to maximize opportunities.
Up-to-date intranet content and marketing collateral and inventory.
Timely response to online reputation management.
Timely writing and production of communication pieces.
Must have thorough understanding of print production techniques and marketing communications.
Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends and have a valid CA driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Essential Job Outcomes
Manages and helps to strengthen MemorialCare’s Online Reputation. Responds to inquiries, reviews, complaints and compliments made by patients online, via website inquiries, social media, email responses, etc in a timely manner using the Simply Better Brand Behaviors and customer first approach to help create raving fans of the MemorialCare Brand.
Supports patient/consumer experience efforts, including but not limited to waiting room standards, navigation center phone tree and process support and amazing scheduling.
Event support and coordination for Internal events related to enhancing the MemorialCare Experience, including The MemorialCare Experience, The Physician Experience, The Management Conference, Leadership Summit and President’s Partnership. Event support and coordination for external events related to brand partnerships, such as the Angels and key properties.
Manages marketing collateral and giveaway fulfillment specific to the MemorialCare Experience and brand related events including but not limited to: maintaining inventory of marketing pieces, reordering as needed; filling order requests for materials from across the system; forecasting and meeting the increased needs for upcoming busy periods; and updating on-line available forms inventory and authorized order lists.
Provides support for MemorialCare’s social media strategy, including but not limited to coordinating photo opportunities, video production, graphic design, caption writing, research and reporting.
Proficient in writing digital content, such as blogs.
Functions as additional resource for the department by attending marketing events as needed.
Collaborates with entire marketing team, including PR/Comms, Service Line and B2B/Outreach.
