JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to plan daily work schedules accordingly and coordinate and assist in work activities of the laundry staff.  Support the Supervisor and Manager in managing the daily operations of the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. 1 to 3 years of laundry related experience.

Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow simple verbal and written instructions, use formulas, charts, tables and schedules and have basic mathematical ability.

Must be proficient in the use of the Pyxis Scrub Station Software, as well as proficient in the use of Linen Helper, within three months of employment.

Must learn how to make linen adjustments and send to Linen Company.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds at one time and push/pull carts of up to 500 pounds.

Must be able to stand 100% of the workday.
