Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing)
The Northport VA Medical Center is currently recruiting for 1 Medical Supply Technician, for the Sterile processing service. Provides decontamination, sterilization, preparation, supply items, and reusable medical equipment support for the medical center. The term "supply item" refers to the reusable items for patient care including instrumentation, critical and semi-critical reusable medical equipment, that could be processed or assembled through six functional areas. BASIC REQUIREMENTS Citizenship. Citizen of the United States. Experience and/or Education Experience. Six months of experience that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work or provides an understanding of the work; or Education. One year above high school that included at least 6 semester hours in health care
