With direct oversight from the GME Administrative Director/Manager, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the UME/GME Program, providing administrative support to the Program Director/Associate Director where applicable. Serves as a partner in creating an outstanding learning environment for medical students, residents and/or fellows as they train at PIH Health. Through excellent communication, creativity and planning, the UME/GME Coordinator functions as the liaison between Program Director, students, residents, fellows, GME office, participating sites, other programs/departments to support and maintain an organized and effective UME/GME teaching program.
