Director of Pediatric Hospital Medicine, Phelps Memorial Hospital – Westchester, NY
The Cohen Children’s Northwell Health Pediatric Service Line and Department of Pediatrics at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health is seeking a full time board eligible/board certified Pediatric Hospitalist to direct the In-Patient Pediatrics Unit and lead the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Westchester, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, the ability to oversee the quality improvement activities of the department, a track record in teaching and supervising residents and the requisite administrative skills.
Highlights include:
Lead role in developing clinical protocols
Attend administrative and academic meetings
Responsibilities include: patient care, supervision of residents and medical students and QI oversight. Participation in clinical research is available.
Opportunities are available for collaboration with Cohen Children’s Medical Center to implement best practices, develop clinical policies and procedures and participate in scholarly activities.
