The role you’ll contribute: The Retail Supervisor will supervise the retail location, supervise retail employees/volunteers, and develop relationships with customers, vendors and partners to ensure business growth. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Achieves and/or exceeds monthly budgeted sales, gross profit, and net income goals established by retail leadership. Complies and enforces all standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
Verifies that deposits are completed daily and reports any discrepancies to retail manager. Keeps fiscal responsibility and customer satisfaction in mind when making all decisions including inventory management
Coordinates with retail manager for routine movement of product in retail space with attention to visual displays, prominent product placement to products/services offered that captures the customer’s attention. Maintains the retail space appearance in an organized, clean, visually appealing environment
Consults with management on new business/retail initiatives/programs that follow the mission and vision of AdventHealth. Conducts outreach marketing as well as event coordination including tracking, expenses and achieving goals. Maintains a vendor/sourcing database for vendors, technology applications and devices
Participates in interviewing candidates for new positions. Trains, coaches and supervises employees to ensure goals and retail customer service standards are being met
Periodically meets with retail Manager as scheduled to discuss planning, execution and effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sales, initiatives, employee development, and innovative ideas
Performs other duties as assigned
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and minimum of 2+ years’ of retail experience (or something in the retail/customer centered fields).
Customer Service skills
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Philanthropic and entrepreneurial spirit
Point of sales skills
Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
