GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs general cleaning which would include dusting, trash pick-up, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning offices and cleaning classrooms/labs. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates behaviors at Adventist University of Health Sciences in harmony with the “Four Wordsâ€Â Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship.
- Removes trash, ensures areas are free of debris and placed in appropriate receptacles.
- Vacuums carpets and performs floor care.
- Cleans bathrooms.
- Cleans offices and lobby area.
- Cleans classrooms and labs
- Performs general dusting in all areas.
- Follows all safety and security policies and procedures.
- Other Duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- General knowledge and practice of safety standards, cleaning techniques and procedures.
