GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs general cleaning which would include dusting, trash pick-up, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning offices and cleaning classrooms/labs. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates behaviors at Adventist University of Health Sciences in harmony with the “Four Wordsâ€Â Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship.
Removes trash, ensures areas are free of debris and placed in appropriate receptacles.
Vacuums carpets and performs floor care.
Cleans bathrooms.
Cleans offices and lobby area.
Cleans classrooms and labs
Performs general dusting in all areas.
Follows all safety and security policies and procedures.
Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
General knowledge and practice of safety standards, cleaning techniques and procedures.
Self-directed.
Ability to listen and follow instructions.
