The primary function of this position is to serve as Laundry Worker for the Laundry Section, Facility Management Service at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan, Puerto Rico. Principal duties are clean linen distribution and soiled linen collection. Assignments may vary depending upon laundry production needs and may include working in the uniform room. Incumbent rotates through a variety of work sites in the textile care processing facility to meet workload demands. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. EXPERIENCE: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position.
