This position is located in the Textile Care Processing Facility (TCPF) of Facilities Management Service and contributes in the processing of textiles for patient care areas within the Roseburg Medical Center, White City, and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's). The ability to perform as a Laundry Worker without more than normal supervision. Duties may include but not limited to: read and understand requests and types of textiles and work quotas; operate a variety of textile processing equipment such as a flat-worker ironer, spreader-feeder, folder-cross folder, small piece folder; recognize fabrics that may need special processing or may become damaged during the washing process; demonstrate ability to recognize items which have been damaged during the washing and/or recognize spotted or other items which have not been properly processed.
