As a key member of the Decision Support Services Team at our Faculty Practice Group, you will act as a stakeholder liaison in order to elicit, analyze, define, and document technology requirements for solving business challenges. This will involve capturing functional and technical requirements in order to produce software requirement specifications and integration transformation/translation mappings, including business process/data flow models, business requirements documents (BRDs), requirements traceability matrices, and user stories. You will also:
Conduct testing according to requirements
Provide analytics support and deep validation for deliverables of technical products/initiatives
Develop system(s) training documentation and user guides
Explain gaps and technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Apply knowledge of industry trends/developments to improve customer service
Achieve in-depth knowledge of relevant software applications
Salary Range: $76,200 - $158,800 Annually
Qualifications
We’re seeking a self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable team player with:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field or relevant experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels required
Ability to establish and achieve goals and maintain timelines required
Ability to program using SAS, R, Python, or Stata for data management and analysis
Knowledge of statistical methods, data warehouse concepts, and data structures/reporting
Knowledge of best practices for reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems, and culture in the healthcare environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and metadata skills required
Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects required
Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated conflict-resolution abilities
