The Inpatient Registered Dietician develops nutrition care plans by assessing, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and documenting care in the patient?s electronic health record. She/he acts as a resource for nutrition expertise and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs. The clinical dietitian demonstrates knowledge of current medical nutrition therapy (MNT), current principles of nutrition support, nutrition counseling skills, and education and presentation skills. The ideal candidate has strong time management skills, good critical thinking ability and the capability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor?s Degree in Dietetics or an equivalent field.
The candidate is registered (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Certified (CD) by the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing.
Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required within 3 months of hire
Certification as a dietitian (state of WI requirement) is required within 6 months of hire
The clinical dietitian participates in a required rotation for weekend and holiday coverage.
