Job Description:
Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Respiratory Care Equipment Technician to join the team. This role will be Part-Time 2 days a week 7:00AM to 5:30PM with weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Completes all department, hospital, and system competencies required of job category within designated timeframes.
• Performs equipment/supply stocking and appropriately places orders for replacement supplies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the locations of all stock/supply items and maintains adequate par levels.
• Disassembles, cleans, and assembles respiratory therapy equipment under department and infection control policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy.
• Demonstrates proper safety precautions while working with cleaning agents according to department policies and procedures.
• Consistently and accurately performs operation performance verification testing on respiratory therapy equipment according to department standards.
• Takes ownership of the setup and transportation of portable medical gas tanks according to hospital standards.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

• Education - High School or GED
