Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental Services leader to join our team as an Assistant Director of Environmental Services on second shift.

This key leadership role provides oversight of daily operational activities for the EVS and Linen departments, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant environment while delivering exceptional service to patients, staff, and visitors. The Assistant Director reports and collaborates with the Director of EVS & Linen in managing daily operations, leading the team, coordinating resources, and mentoring staff.   The Assistant Director has a compliment of staff including second shift managers who assign work, monitor performance, and ensure schedules and service standards are consistently met. This Assistant Director role is ultimately responsible for ensuring environmental staff are trained and compliant with accreditation standards and all applicable regulations to ensure the highest level of safety, sanitation standards, quality, and patient experience standards are met for all patients and visitors.  Relocation benefits are available to applicable candidates.

• Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience in Environmental Services or support service–related fields with demonstrated high customer service standards.
• Candidates for this key role should have experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• A bachelor’s degree is required, or in lieu of a degree, five years of leadership or supervisory experience in military, housekeeping, or facilities roles may be substituted.
• Candidates must be able to work second shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
